#HighlySensitivePeople: Do You need some more tips for self-preservation? (Part 2)

It’s crucial for us highly sensitive people and introverts to constantly figure out ways to keep ourselves from being overwhelmed from the stresses of everyday life. Here are more tips for doing this:

  1. Create a support system: Surround yourself with people who understand and accept you for who you are. Seek out friends and family who are supportive and empathetic towards your needs.
  2. Journaling: Writing down your thoughts and feelings in a journal can help you process and reflect on your experiences. It can also be a helpful tool to identify patterns or triggers that may be affecting your emotional well-being.
  3. Seek professional help: If you find that your sensitivity is interfering with your ability to function in your daily life, consider seeking help from a mental health professional. A therapist can help you develop coping strategies and provide support and guidance
  4. Practice assertiveness: Learning to assert yourself can help you communicate your needs and boundaries effectively. It can also help you avoid being taken advantage of or manipulated by others.

Self-preservation looks different for everyone. It’s important to find what works best for you. Prioritize your well-being and don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. What are your thoughts about self-preservation? I’m interested in any thoughts or comments that you have.
