I’m an author, HSP coach, and was self-employed for over 35 years. In 2008, I founded The Highly Sensitive Publishing Company and published my first book, Making Sense of Your High Sensitivity. Since then, I’ve organized and facilitated HSP meetups and teleconferences. I currently author a blog, Highly Sensitive Thoughts, and produce a bimonthly newsletter, Thoughts For The Thoughtful. I’ve also published other digital products, including e-books and special reports, for highly sensitive people and introverts. As a highly sensitive person, I understand how not knowing about your sensitive nature can cause unnecessary pain and unhappiness. The sooner you gain self-knowledge, the faster you’ll be able to leverage your best qualities, while making allowances for your highly sensitive nature.
My company evolved from my love of and passion for personal growth information, as well as my desire to inspire others.

I do my best to focus on the positive aspects of high sensitivity and provide advice for dealing with the challenges. I hope you can benefit from the lessons I have learned!
I currently reside in Missouri with my wife Linda and our cat Charlie. Our daughter Stephanie is very successful in the social media industry.
Connect with Other HSPs
Since most people don’t know about high sensitivity, it’s often misunderstood, which can be isolating. Some HSPs mistakenly believe there’s something wrong with them, which is why it’s so important to find and connect with like-minded people.
