#HighlySensitivePeople: Are You Clear On Your Values?

I’ll clarify my question. Do you know what’s important to you? Perhaps you haven’t given this much thought. However, this is the most important question you need to ask yourself.

The reason for this is because this important question affects all aspects of your life. The quality of your relationships, your choice of a vocation, and your overall happiness is impacted by being true to what you value.

What are your top values? Perhaps they may include honesty, independence, integrity, personal growth, kindness, loyalty, making a difference, reliability, security, self-reliance, success, hard work, creativity,  or anything else that you can think of. It’s entirely up to you. There are no right or wrong answers.

Use your highly sensitive deep-thinking and intuitive capabilities and pick the top three values that are the most important to you. Apply these values to your relationships. Are the people who you’re involved with coincide with your values? If not, you might want to re-evaluate them. Doe’s your work and social life fit your values? If not, this might be something to think about.

Your values may change throughout your life. It’s worth constantly thinking about what’s important to you. The quality and happiness in your life depends on it. I’m interested in any thoughts or comments that you have.
