#Highly Sensitive People: Would You Like Some Inspirational Advice?

Being the highly sensitive and deep-thinking people that we are, we need all of the inspirational advice that we can get in these overwhelming and uncertain times!

I participate in many online forums and find them very helpful and comforting to vent my feeling through my writing, helping others when I can, and to get very thought-provoking advice from the brilliant people on these forums.

I would like to share a quote that summed up perfectly what we need to do in good and difficult times.

“Sometimes you just have to get through the emotions the best way you can. Learning as many coping tools as possible, along the way.” …   Marguerite Lucas

I love this quote! We DO have to learn as many coping skills as possible throughout our lives!  I do this by talking to my wife, daughter, and friends, by having many interests, by having a passion to learn about many topics, exercising, and petting and interacting with my cats.

What coping skills do you have or what skills would you like to develop? I’m interested in any thoughts or comments that you have.

If you find my content useful, I would appreciate it if you would share it with others! Feel free to use the share buttons below, or to add your comments to this post. I do respond to comments!

Thanks for the opportunity to share. I use my HSP to help and encourage people who are going through difficult times particularly the elderly as in my town there are many and during this period of lockdown even more so. My gift of sensitivity enables me to sort of see and sence the others anguish and fear. It’s a blessing to me to bless others in this way as it gives me great joy. My website below is quite old but used to use it when I was training young folk.

Helping others is a wonderful calling to be of service to others. It’s true that when you help others, you experience great joy and well-being.

Keep doing what you’re doing. The world is a better place because of people like you!
