I’m extremely frustrated! I’ve had three cases of Covid.  One on January 2022. Another case in December 2022, and two weeks ago with Covid Pneumonia. I’ve been fully vaccinated. I will get another one if needed. My symptoms might have been worse if I didn’t have them. I’ve been trying to get medical help with no results on what to do. My main problem is dealing with extreme fatigue, persistant cough, and brain fog (concentration and focus issues). This makes it very difficult for me to write my blog posts and newsletter that I love to do! (more…)

There are many factors that keep us from making the most of our talents. Fear of the unknown, fear of failure, lack of confidence, and anxiety over being judged are common roadblocks.

Facing the unknown is scary, but you shouldn’t allow your fear to limit you. Sometimes, you just have to take a deep breath, and do the thing that scares you. If you fail, you can always try again or make adjustments. To put things in perspective, Thomas Edison never would have invented the electric light if he feared uncertainty or failure. (more…)

HighlySensitivePeople: How Well Do You Handle Adversity?

Everyone has difficult times. We can’t avoid it. It’s a part of life that we need to accept. Sure we highly sensitive people feel more than others, but it shouldn’t be used as an excuse to feel or be down more than others.

Ill-health, losing a loved one, unemployment, various traumas, either past or present, or misfortune of any kind will rear its ugly head at some point in our lives.

It’s normal to feel hurt, sad, angry, fearful, or whatever else your feeling. You can’t deny your pain. It doesn’t help your situation. The old saying…”Whatever you resist persists” is definitely true. (more…)

Highly Sensitive People: Do You Take Responsibility For Your Life?

It seems that taking responsibility for one’s actions and one’s life is not a given these days. Is it okay to avoid apologizing in order to appear stronger? Why do so many people feel victimized by their circumstances, and become so discouraged that they don’t seek to improve their lives?

I recently heard on the radio that it’s a sign of weakness to apologize to someone when you make a mistake. Forget about asking for forgiveness! Why does trying to correct an honest mistake make a person appear weak? I’m personally appalled by this kind of thinking. (more…)
